Binance CEO CZ recently spoke at the Asian Leadership Conference. The experienced executive shares his predictions about the future use cases of cryptocurrencies.
“Payment will be made in crypto or stablecoin in the future”
Changpeng “CZ” Zhao stated that in today’s world, there is no talk of the internet, only activities related to it, such as “watching videos online”. Zhao thinks the future will be similar for Blockchain and people will lose the technical jargon.
Moreover, he imagines that in the future people will connect with workers globally and pay them in the form of cryptocurrencies or stablecoins. Similarly, people will have digital wallets on their phones, not to mention private keys.
CZ says that if someone uses cryptocurrencies, digital IDs or “anything transactional” today, the technology will eventually be adopted as “99.99%” of them will be replaced by Blockchain technology in the future.
However, he explains that while in 20 or 30 years Blockchain will potentially replace everything transactional, some Web2 experiences like reading books will remain as they are.
