Binance acquired a digital asset service provider license from France.
Leading crypto asset trading platform Binance continues its efforts to comply with regulations. The company has finally received approval from the French financial regulator Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). The institution has licensed Binance as a digital asset service provider. In other words, Binance will now allow its users to buy, sell and store crypto assets in France.
Announced at the Paris Blockchain Summit
The move represents the latest move in Binance’s expansion into Europe. Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao, made a speech at the summit last week, describing France as “uniquely positioned to be the European leader of this industry” and announced that he will invest 100 million euros in France by partnering with the France-based startup campus Station F.
