The decline continues in Binance. The CEO of the US branch, who recently announced his resignation, created panic in users.
A new one has been added to the consecutive separations from Binance. Making a statement a few hours ago, Brian Shroder, CEO of BinanceUS, announced that he left the company. Binance’s US branch, which recently laid off one-third of its staff, confused people with the decision to leave the CEO. In addition, the fact that many senior officials and regular staff left the company in such a short time brought about theories.
A statement regarding the developments came from the spokesperson of Binance.US
A spokesperson for BinanceUS confirmed the layoffs and Shroder’s departure. Stating that the stock exchange focuses on its own activities, the spokesman said:
“The Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) aggressive attempts to cripple our industry and the resulting effects on our business are causing a variety of problems for American jobs and innovation. The separations in Binance are also an example of this situation.”
Shroder has been replaced on an interim basis by Chief Legal Officer Norman Reed, the spokesperson confirmed. Shroder joined BinanceUS in September 2021. His departure comes amid a series of regulatory actions against the company in recent months. It is unclear whether this situation will continue in Binance, which has lost a lot of its employees in a short period of time.
