Binance Whales Attack DOGE And These Altcoins!

Whale Stats, which tracks the biggest cryptocurrency investors and reports on ten chain transactions, has released a list of whales favored coins on Binance’s BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain). It seems that Dogecoin (DOGE), which has not been on the list for a while, is back on the list.

BNB Chain whales focus on DOGE

As reported by WhaleStats and its section tracking the top 100 wallets on BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain, BSC), Dogecoin reappeared on the list of top ten cryptocurrencies bought in bulk by the largest BNB whales. Apart from DOGE, this list includes USD Coin (USDC), BNB (BNB), Baby Doge Coin (BabyDoge), Ethereum (ETH), and other cryptos. When the top purchases are sorted in US Dollars, the following list greets us:

  • USD Coin (USDC)
  • BNB (BNB)
  • BSC-USD
  • Binance USD (BUSD)
  • Fame MMA (FAME)
  • Bitcoin (BTC)
  • Baby Doge Coin (BabyDoge)
  • Dogecoin (DOGE)
  • Ethereum (ETH)

BNB whales hold DOGE worth $27,439,092, which totals 1.94 percent of their portfolio. As previously reported by Cryptokoin.com , DOGE profitability rose to 53 percent after falling below 50 percent following price drops earlier this month, according to data shared by IntoTheBlock.

Who are crypto whales?

So why does it matter what cryptocurrency whales buy or sell? Who are the whales? A cryptocurrency whale, more commonly referred to as a “crypto whale” or simply “whale,” is a cryptocurrency community term that refers to individuals or organizations that hold large amounts of cryptocurrency. Whales have as much cryptocurrency as they have the potential to manipulate currency valuations.

So, there is no exact number for an investor to qualify as a whale. Achieving whale status in the cryptocurrency space is subjective. In most cases, the community seems to agree that having a large percentage of the available cryptocurrency in an account makes the investor behind that account a whale.
