Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao reiterated that investing in Elon Musk’s bid to buy Twitter is one of their top priorities this year.
The stock market was previously shown among the financiers of Elon Musk’s $ 44 billion offer.
Binance Supports Twitter Purchase
According to Bloomberg’s report, Binance is ready to provide approximately $500 million in financing to Elon Musk for the Twitter deal.
CZ told Bloomberg that Binance plans to invest more than a billion dollars in partnerships and acquisitions this year. Another priority of the company is the planned $200 million investment in Forbes.
Binance has invested $325 million in 67 projects this year. The amount has far surpassed the $140 million the company spent on 73 projects in 2021.
Elon Musk’s Twitter plans have been well received by the crypto community.
It was recently revealed that Sam-Bankman Fried, CEO of FTX, also contacted Elon Musk to buy Twitter.
Musk’s refusal to buy Twitter caused Twitter to sue. Although the situation remains unclear at the moment, it seems likely that Elon Musk will complete the deal.
