Bitcoin Miners Deposit Money Into Exchanges In Two Weeks

Bitcoin miners have deposited $174 million worth of cryptocurrencies on cryptocurrency exchanges in the past two weeks.

According to data from Glassnode, Bitcoin miners have deposited 174 million worth of cryptocurrencies on cryptocurrency exchanges. This was the highest investment since March 2021.

Bitcoin Miners Invest High For The First Time Since March 2021

According to data from Glassnode, 14-day average miner transfers to exchanges rose sharply to 489.26 BTC. This investment was the highest level since March 2021.

Bitcoin (BTC) transfers from miners to centralized exchanges have gained momentum since May 31, according to data obtained by blockchain analytics firm Glassnode.

Data from Glassnode shows that miners, or organizations that issue coins by verifying transactions with Blockchain, have transferred 6671.99 BTC (approximately $174 million) to exchanges since May 31. Miners moved 2,606 BTC to exchanges on June 3 alone.

The 14-day average of miner transfers to exchanges rose sharply to 489.26 BTC, the highest level since March 2021. Meanwhile, the balance in wallets associated with miners decreased by around 2,000 BTC in two weeks.
