BNB Chainaims to train 30 thousand new Web3 developers in Latin America by 2022.
BNB Chain, a blockchain network created by crypto exchange Binance, and Latin America-focused education platform Platzi have announced that they will launch a Web3 development course for the region.
BNB Chain Will Train 30 Thousand Web3 Developers
While BNB remains a hub for crypto-related activities, it is a hub for Latin American students. Web3 Preparing to launch development course. The aim is to open the course to 30 thousand students by the end of the year.
This initiative drives wider adoption of blockchain technology and Web3 education in the region. The reasons for opening the course that will contribute to the growth of the sector include unclear regulations from local governments, accessibility and lack of training.
BNB Chain investment director told Cointelegraph that the course focuses on developing the skills of developers. Gwendolyn Reginasaid on the subject:
“It will be the primary educational resource for Web2 developers to develop on Web3 with BNB Chain. If we increase the availability of resources to build Web3 tools on BNB Chain, we can significantly support the development of the region.”
In order to encourage participation in the new BNB Chain course; Participants of the BNB Chain Development Camp in Bogota, Colombia this September will have a chance to get a scholarship for the new online course.
