Fans of Sao Paulo, one of the biggest clubs in Brazil, will be able to buy match tickets with Bitcoin (BTC) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).
Sao Paulo became the first Brazilian team to allow the purchase of game tickets with cryptocurrencies.
Sao Paulo, which has beaten the rope 22 times in the Brazilian league, announced that it has partnered with the crypto money exchange Bitso a few months ago.
Bitso will assist the club for fans to purchase match tickets with BTC, SHIB and other digital assets. This initiative is a first for Brazilian football.
The first person to benefit from this feature was a fan named Fabio Gloeden Brum. NFT was given as a souvenir to the fans who preferred to buy the match ticket in Bitcoin.
This is not the first partnership of cryptocurrency exchange Bitso. The stock market previously announced that it has partnered with Tigres, one of Mexico’s leading teams.
