Then, the Interpol Department started the extradition proceedings for him to be brought to Turkey, and Fatih Özer was taken from Albania and brought before the judiciary in our country.

It was determined that Fatih Özer went abroad on the evening of April 1, 2021. Many people involved in the incident were detained, but Fatih Özer could not be found. Although the place where Özer was staying in Albania, who was wanted with a red notice, was determined, he managed to escape. Fatih Özer, whose capture efforts have been going on for about a year, was caught in Albania and brought to court in Turkey.
It was also stated at the hearing that the security measures to be taken against Faruk Fatih Özer, the founder of Thodex, will be determined. Also, according to the information obtained Elbasan Prosecutor’s Officestated that Özer’s arrest was legal and therefore demanded the continuation of Özer’s detention.
