Cardano (ADA) Plans To Attract 100 Million Africans To Crypto

Cardano (ADA) has stepped up its efforts to involve Africans in the crypto industry.

Adaverse, which acts as Cardano’s ecosystem accelerator, has participated in a funding round for Africa-based blockchain organization Afriguild.

Afriguild operates in 9 cities of Nigeria with a population of 200 million. The organization plans to expand to four more countries in Africa by the end of the year. Plans include attracting 100 million Africans to the crypto and web3 space.

Cardano emphasizes the potential of Africa at every opportunity and shapes its work accordingly. Founder Charles Hoskinson also makes frequent visits to Africa.

By increasing its operations in Africa, Cardano aims to increase the number of crypto users on the continent.

Cardano’s connections with Africa are not limited to the private sector. Last year, Cardano’s parent company, IOHK, announced a partnership with the Ethiopian Ministry of Education. In addition, Hoskinson held meetings with the presidents of Zanzibar and Burundi.
