Cardano founder funds alien expedition
Charles Hoskinson flew a group of scientists into the Pacific Ocean in his private jet this week. He answered the questions about the closely followed development on his Twitter account. As Hoskinson reports, they are currently on an expedition to collect pieces of potential alien technology that crashed to Earth in 2014. According to the report, an object the size of a watermelon was detected that fell from space that year. Hoskinson donated $1.5 million in funding to Project Galileo, the research team that went after this object in March.
Hoskinson is currently investigating the object that fell off the coast of Papua New Guinea in the Ocean with Harvard astronomers.

“I am proud to have funded this expedition,” Hoskinson said in April. “It will be fun to see if we find anything alien.”

US defense department confirms UFO discovery
The research led by Hoskinson is based on concrete findings. The interstellar origin of the object has also been confirmed by the US Department of Defense. The Galileo team is now chasing a few relics for them to examine.
Second interstellar rock possibly discovered by Amir Siraj and Avi Loeb in @NASA's CNEOS catalog of past meteors. It vaporized in our atmosphere in 2014, but came in fast enough that it may have come from beyond the solar system. 'Oumuamua has friends! https://t.co/fPYcAwNyjq

Cardano founder contributed to an interesting project before
In March 2022, Hoskinson joined a $75 million funding round for Colossal, a Texas-based bioscience startup that aims to resurrect mammoths and other extinct species. According to Bloomberg’s article on Colossal:
A Dallas company trying to use ancient genetic material to create modern-day versions of woolly mammoths, a quest to combat climate change and improve healthcare, has raised $75 million from venture capitalists, the billionaire producer of “Jurassic World” and Paris Hilton. Harvard University geneticist George Church and tech entrepreneur Ben Lamm founded Colossal Biosciences in September with $15 million in seed funding. Just six months later, Colossal had raised another $60 million for the plan, despite the skepticism of some scientists.
We invested in this venture https://t.co/sttOJ37O0j They have an amazing vision and also there is a ton that can be done to add blockchain technology to the field of de-extinction from crowd funding to IP management of genetics

Charles Hoskinson is a businessperson known as a cryptocurrency expert and blockchain technology developer. His mathematical knowledge is a key factor contributing to their success in the cryptocurrency industry. Hoskinson began applying his deep knowledge of mathematics and computer science to Blockchain technology. He also owns a private jet. He had said before that he had a wide network thanks to this jet. According to Climate Jets, its jet is among the top 15 pollutants in the US because of it.
