Cardano Makes Significant Progress For Vasil Hard Fork

Cardano developer Input Output has made significant progress for the Vasil hard fork.

As of today, 95% of blocks come from 1.32.3 nodes.

Progress Made for Cardano Upgrade

Many of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in terms of liquidity have implemented Vasil integration. Exchanges that have not yet integrated have started preparations for this.

Cryptocurrency exchanges such as Binance and Coinbase provided integration, while exchanges such as ChangellyPRO and ZB.com were among the exchanges in the integration phase.

Zipmex, CEX.io, CoinDCX and Coinbase Pro have not yet registered any work for integration.

For the Vasil upgrade to be triggered, 80% of the 25 most liquid cryptocurrency exchanges must integrate.

The upgrade, named after the famous mathematician Vasil Dabov, is scheduled for release on September 22.

All of the DeFi projects that rank high in terms of total value locked have either tested or are starting to test version 1.35.3.

Cardano’s native token, ADA, is the eighth largest cryptocurrency by market cap. The asset is trading at $0.5086 at the time of writing, according to Binance data.
