Celsius Prepares to Sue a Creditor

Crypto lender Celsius is preparing to file a lawsuit against a creditor for leaking insider information.

The bankrupt crypto loan company Celsius Network is continuing its various legal processes, including its repayment to its creditors. The crypto startup reported last month that it was working on restructuring its Chapter 11 process.

But things are not going well for Celsius. Celsius is preparing to take legal action against its creditor, Tiffany Fong, for leaking insider information.

Celsius to Sue Its Creditor

An investor named Tiffany Fong shared information that he has over $100,000 in assets in Celsius. Fong took action after this information and increased his sharing about Celsius. Fong, who shared data from several employees inside Celsius, is sued.

Celsius began to prepare for legal processes, citing that the data shared by its creditor contained internal information.

Among the documents submitted to the court are the Fong processes. Celsius’ attorney Kirkland and Ellis International, in his sixth monthly wage statement, reports that he worked 77 billable hours worth approximately $72,000 on a bill titled “The Tiffany Fong case.”
