Solana’s high TPS values make it a highly scalable network, while making it more daring about Node. Coinbase Cloud also takes on this load by launching Archive Nodes.
Coinbase Cloud Launches Solana Archive Nodes
Blockchain infrastructure platform Coinbase Cloudannounced the release of Solana Archive Nodes, a tool to help developers build products and services that work on the network.
Many projects built on blockchain, such as analytics and data providers, require secure, easy-to-use and reliable infrastructure beyond the access to 128 blocks provided by a standard Solana Full Node.
So much so that if we give an example from the Ethereum network, the size of Full Nodu is approximately 1 TB. However, this size can exceed 12 TB in Archive Nodes. When we come to the Solana network, we see that the Archive Block size has exceeded 100 TB. This is a much larger size than the developers can handle.
Coinbase Cloud has previously launched Solana Nodes to enable developers to access and verify transaction data from the blockchain network. Expanding Archive Nodes does the heavy lifting while allowing developers to access all historical data back to the Solana genesis block.
