Coinbase launches subscription service focused on European expansion.
Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase continues its efforts to be active outside the US. In line with this goal, Coinbase One will step into the market in 35 different countries.
Coinbase Expands to Europe with Coinbase One
Coinbase, the world’s second-largest crypto exchange, is launching its subscription service Coinbase One in 35 countries to retain users and grow recurring revenue streams while prices remain low.
Coinbase One was first introduced in beta in the fall of 2021. It will be available in the US, UK, Germany and Ireland starting today, the company says. The company will roll out the service in 31 other European countries in the coming months.
According to Phil McDonnell, senior director of product management at Coinbase, the subscription service offers a number of features, including no trading fees, 24/7 customer support, and pre-filed tax return documents.
