Binance Pay, Binance’s cryptocurrency payment feature, is partnering with Bolt Global to create a new Web3 live entertainment and social experience. Announced via the Binance Blog, Binance Pay, a contactless, unlimited crypto payment feature, will support Bolt Global, a technology company focused on developing services for Web3. The partnership will enable exchange users globally to gain access to Bolt+, the official name for this new Web3 social experience.
“We are excited to partner with Binance Pay to bring Web3 adoption to more industries worldwide across entertainment, retail and gaming,” said Christel Quek, Bolt Global’s Co-Founder and CTO. What’s interesting is its similarity to streaming platforms like Twitch, where creators can get “gifts” from their fans. But in this case it will be crypto-based. While Bolt+ allows creators to retain 95 percent of their earnings, Web2 platforms take a significant amount from creators. There will be NFT channels based on tips, advertising, sponsorship and benefits.

Bolt+ is available for iOS, Android and web browsers. The platform has already recruited music companies, sports media broadcasters and various news networks. The success of this platform could drastically change the streaming landscape, especially for creators on the revenue generation side, but also for fans through new experience options.
