Crypto Asset Manager Approved in Europe
Brazil-based crypto asset manager Hashdex announced today that the company has received approval to list exchange-traded products (ETP) in the European Union.
In the company’s statement, it was stated that Hashdex is working with various European service providers, including exchanges, to list ETPs in different countries of the European Union.
Bruno Sousa, the company’s head of new markets, said:
Hashdex launched the Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index Europe ETP on the SIX exchange in the country in May after gaining approval from Switzerland.
The company offers six different crypto ETF products in Brazil.
Brazil remains an important country for the cryptocurrency industry. Ripple recently announced that it will work with Travelex on a crypto system that will allow money transfer between Brazil and Mexico.
