In a recent interview, Dogecoin (DOGE) co-creator Jackson Palmer shared his thoughts on the crypto space and specifically how he feels about Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, who is a prominent proponent of Dogecoin.
Dogecoin was first launched on December 6, 2013 as a “fun and friendly internet currency”. It was created by Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer. Publishing the first episode of the “GRIFTONOMICS” podcast on May 17, Palmer commented on cryptocurrencies in an interview with Australian news outlet Crikey on May 30.
Palmer is not a fan of the cryptocurrency space because he believes there are too many scammers, i.e. people who are happy to make money dishonestly:
“I still see heaps of money being poured by crypto supporters. They’re waiting for a new batch of idiots to arrive. This happens in cycles. You wait for a while for the world’s collective memory to forget what a great deception it is. We had ICOs DAOs, now NFTs. Finally, IGOs came out. Unfortunately I wish it was the end of crypto but it isn’t.”
The creator of DOGE also mentioned Elon Musk:
“He’s a scammer, selling a vision hoping that one day he can deliver on what he promised, but he doesn’t know it. He’s really good at pretending he knows. I always said Elon Musk was and always will be a scammer, but the world loves scammers.”
