Ducati steps into NFT space with XRP Ledger partnership

Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has announced that it has partnered with XRP Ledger, founded by Ripple, to enter the Web3 space. With this partnership, Ducati will launch its first digital collection on the XRP Ledger, featuring all the Ducati logos that appear in the warehouses of its motorcycles.

Ducati’s first digital collection will be presented primarily as a gift to Ducati fans as they step into the Web3 world. Users will need to register within seven days of publication to participate in this collection. The collection will follow the NFT distribution model and those who purchase the first collection will have access to future projects.

Ducati’s Web3 collaboration with XRP Ledger shows that the motorcycle manufacturer plans to develop new digital aggregation areas and NFT collections in the coming months using technical support on the fast, low-cost and carbon-neutral XRP Ledger blockchain. This step represents the “natural evolution of the company’s digital strategy.”

Ducati is also working on another NFT collection called “The Epic Road Trip” with Web3 Pro, which has previously collaborated on an NFT collection with parent company Lamborghini.

Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali stated that the introduction to Web3 is an opportunity to offer more services to the Ducatisti community and meet new NFT enthusiasts. Thanks to this partnership, Ducati aims to create a new community with digital assets exclusive to its brand and to have a presence in the Web3 world.
