Elon Musk’s Company Announces It Will Accept Payments With Dogecoin (DOGE)

Elon Musk’s company, The Boring Company, announced that DOGE will be accepted for journeys on the Loop, the Las Vegas transit system.

The new payment option made its first appearance on Friday, when The Boring Company opened its first Loop station outside the Las Vegas Convention Center. This move shows that Elon Musk’s continued interest in Dogecoin.

The company hopes to expand to more than 50 stations on the Vegas Strip, including Allegiant Stadium, home to the NFL.

Although the company has not yet given any information about the date, the rides are currently held free of charge. According to the information on the Vegas Loop website, single flights will cost $1.50, while daily passes will be priced at $2.50. Users who do not want to pay with Dogecoin will be able to pay by credit card or US dollars.

Dogecoin is trading at $0.06796 at the time of writing, according to CoinMarketCap data.
