EU Calls on US for Crypto Regulations

The European Union (EU) financial services chief has called on the US to create clearer crypto-related laws.

Taking a tough stance against digital assets, the EU recently tightened its AML regulations. The new regulation expanded the list with the inclusion of decentralized finance (DeFi), DAOs and NFTs. European regulators want crypto regulations to be prepared globally and not raise concerns.

EU Financial Services Chief Mairead McGuinnessstated that the crypto regulation applied to the markets should be put into the global order.
