Casa, one of the oldest crypto custody services, has made a surprising announcement for 2023. It heralded that it will add support for the market’s largest altcoin project.
Casa announces 2023 plans for this altcoin
The news came from the Twitter account of Casa’s co-founder and CTO Jameson Lopp. Crypto phenomenon says that cryptocurrency custody service Casa may add support for Ethereum (ETH) in 2023. Casa is a Blockchain software company that offers a multi-signature wallet for users to protect their cryptographic keys. Ethereum support was surprising news, as the company has only been servicing Bitcoin until now.

Jameson Lopp also addressed other aspects of Ethereum support. He suggested that Casa’s new move was driven by customer demand. This means that Casa users are now looking for other cryptos instead of Bitcoin. In other words, Casa users need a platform where they can transfer BTC and ETH without leaving a single interface. Lopp says people’s need for an easy-to-use storage service is growing. The founder therefore underlined that Casa should now be open to large audiences:

Ethereum is on the list, does Casa have plans for other altcoins?
Co-founder Jameson Lopp has yet to share a clear date for Ethereum support. He stated in the tweet that the support will be active in 2023. However, Lopp says that Casa will continue to develop Bitcoin solutions. As to whether other altcoins will be added, he said there is not enough demand for it yet. The announcement was enthusiastically received by other crypto influencers. Established Bitcoin advocate Muneeb Ali and Ethereum’s Tim Beiko and Hudson Jameson were the names that supported Lopp’s announcement.
