In a significant announcement made earlier today, Tether, the leading issuer of stablecoins, revealed its strategic investment in the renowned Italian football club, Juventus FC. This news has triggered an impressive surge in the value of the club’s crypto fan token, JUV, which skyrocketed over 200% before experiencing a slight correction that stabilized the gains to approximately 120% within the last 24 hours.
The remarkable price movement of the Juventus Fan Token has also had a ripple effect across the crypto fan token market. Tokens associated with other football clubs have seen notable increases, with the S.S. Lazio Fan Token (LAZIO) witnessing a rise of 11%. Additionally, the FC Porto Fan Token (PORTO) has enjoyed an uptick of over 10% today.
