Fraud Warning from Dogecoin

The famous meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE) has issued a warning about a new scam circulating on the social media platform from its official Twitter account.

Dogecoin, which has rapidly increased in popularity in 2021, is spreading to a wide network in crypto services with new collaborations. But fame and this growth also have disadvantages. The new problem of Dogecoin, which is also a headache, is that malicious people using its awareness deceive users by presenting themselves as technical support.

Dogecoin Scammers Introduce themselves as Tech Support

Dogecoin has issued a warning from its official Twitter account informing its users about the new fraud method circulating on social media.

In the warning, which stated that there is no Dogecoin Official Support, it was stated that technical support service is provided for those who have difficulties and problems with crypto currency from a fake account opened in the name of meme coin. Disguised as technical support, scammers begin to trick users by asking users to set up a wallet after contacting them through the account.

It is stated that the fraudulent fake account against Dogecoin, which tells users that they should never share their account information, was created in 2012 (before Dogecoin was launched).
