Hack Description from Binance Founder: We have no interest!

Following the Bybit Hack, which has aroused a great impact in the crypto currency world, a large amount of asset transfer to the stock market draws attention. The $ 1.4 billion hacking incident worried both the community and the stock market, while many users and platforms transferred billions of dollars of crypto currency to support Bybit. However, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao denied the claims that Binance was involved in these operations.

Binance founder made a statement

The hacking attack on the Bybit stock exchange was recorded as one of the biggest cyber attacks in crypto currency history. However, after the attack, the stock market was supported by a large amount of crypto currency from unknown wallets and platforms. Following the fund transfers of Binance, speculation that Binance provides a liquidity support to Bybit came up. However, Changpeng Zhao said in a statement rejecting these allegations and said, iz We cannot get praise for this. ” He said. Zhao, these transactions are made by users, stating that some whale accounts may be providing funds to Bybit, he added.

On-Chain Analysis Platform Lookonchain announced today that a whale or corporate investor has suffered from Binance 11,800 ETH (about 31 million dollars) and that this amount was deposited in the cold wallet of Bybit. Then, a total of 36,000 ETH (approximately 96.5 million dollars) from Binance’s hot wallet was transferred to the cold wallet of Bybit. These transactions are considered as a credit transfer made to facilitate user trains in Bybit.

Large amounts of asset transfers attract attention

According to reports made by Whale Alert, BTC, ETH, XRP and USDT was transferred to Bybit in recent hours. An unknown wallet sent Bitcoin (about 285.76 million dollars) to a hacked Bybit stock exchange. Bitget, 39,998 ETH (about 105.5 million dollars), while at the same time 679.7 billion USDT and 40 million XRP, from other wallets are transferred to Bybit. In addition to these big transfers, HTX co -founder Jun Du announced that he would deposit 10,000 ETH today and would not shoot these tokens for a month.

Following the hacking incident, a large amount of assets were reported from the Bybit stock exchange. According to data provided by Arkham Intelligence, a wallet connected to the OTC commercial table of the Galaxy Digital attracted 25,000 ETH (about $ 67.12 million) from the Bybit stock market. The same wallet attracted 200,000 USDC and 90 ETH in the last 40 minutes. Another unknown wallet drew 700 BTC worth 68.8 million dollars.

Despite all these big transfers, the support of Binance -related wallets to Bybit is remarkable. However, Changpeng Zhao’s statements that Binance had nothing to do with these transfers led to concerns in the community. On the other hand, despite the $ 1.4 billion hacking attack by Bybit, the reserves in their assets such as BTC and ETH are still quite high. As of now, Bybit’s ETH reserves contain 450,462 ETH, worth about $ 1.2 billion. In addition, Bybit’s assets such as BTC, USDT, MNT and USDC are $ 6,71 billion, $ 4.12 billion, $ 2.21 billion and 652.16 million dollars.
