Heather Morgan Speaks on Twitter

“I am not involved in any crypto projects,” Heather Morgan said on Twitter, adding that “any crypto or NFT project bearing my name is a scam that I do not endorse.”

This was Morgan’s first social media post after his arrest.

Before the money laundering charges, Morgan was doing a rap music titled “Razzlekhan”. Later, he took charge of a copywriting project called SaleForce. Morgan also offered advice on how to stay safe from cybercriminals.

Morgan and her husband, Ilya Lichyenstein, have been accused of laundering $4.5 billion in Bitcoin stolen from cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex. The US Department of Justice managed to recover $3.6 billion of the stolen funds.

Morgan and Lichtenstein could face up to 25 years in prison if found guilty on charges of money laundering and defrauding the United States. The two were released on bail totaling $8 million.
