Shiba Inu takes over SHIB Burn Portal completely

  • The Terra Classic community has launched a petition to get the LUNC token listed on Coinbase. The petition has now reached over 3,000 signatures. The community urges Coinbase to list it as LUNC is “quickly regaining its position in the crypto market.”
  • The Stellar Development Foundation has launched a $100 million fund to support local smart contract adoption. SDF will encourage developers to develop the Soroban smart contract platform, which officially went live on Futurenet on October 11.

An anonymous wallet burned 135 million SHIB in one go

  • Anonymous wallet burned 135.89 million SHIB in a single transaction. Thus, it caused the Shiba Inu’s burning rate to exceed 425% compared to the previous day.
  • Wietse Wind, the lead developer of XRP Ledger, reports that a launcher solution has been added to the Xumm wallet. With the innovation, users will be able to purchase XRP for fiat, especially directly from their bank accounts through Xumm.
  • In other news about Ripple, XRPL Labs has announced that its long-awaited on/off ramp service has finally been released in the Netherlands. It also shared its plans to expand to other parts of Europe and the UK.
  • SushiSwap executive Jared Gray denied the theft allegations against him. Gray was accused of stealing funds from the crypto community from a project called ALQO in 2019 after he introduced the wallet called Liberio, which was used to steal 70% of the token’s total supply. Gray argued that all the accusations were “untrue”.
