Jack Dorsey also left the board of directors after stepping down as CEO of Twitter.
Dorsey left the Twitter board following a scheduled shareholder meeting Wednesday. As we reported earlier, Dorsey stepped down from his Twitter CEO position in November.
The breakup came at a time when Elon Musk’s Twitter deal was turbulent. According to information quoted by The Block, company executives declined to respond to shareholders’ questions about Musk’s deal, saying they would discuss it at a later date. On the other hand, it was reported that Musk was not at the meeting.
