Jimbo’s Protocol, which has experienced a major attack in the past days, offered a deal to the hacker.
Jimbo’s Protocol was the victim of a hacker recently. However, the team has now offered the hacker an agreement to return 90 percent of the stolen funds.
Jimbo’s Protocol Wants Back 90 Percent of Stolen Funds
The team behind Jimbos Protocol offered a deal to an exploiter of the protocol. He said that if the deal is not fulfilled, he will call the police. The deal included the attacker keeping 10 percent of the funds and returning the remaining 90 percent. If the deal is not accepted, the team stated that they will take legal action against the attacker.
The Jimbos team announced this proposal in a tweet on May 28 and also posted it on the Ethereum network. But after the attacker did not respond, the team set a deadline of May 29 and called on the attacker to return 90 percent of the funds. They implied that otherwise, they would contact the police. The second message was also posted on the protocol’s official Twitter account.
Protocol was the victim of a credit attack on May 28, and the attacker pulled $7.5 million worth from the pool. The team stated that they identified the attacker and that the application to the police would be completed.
on to those who are begging us for it. We don't want anyone's lives ruined, but given no choice, we will do what we say.
