Justin Bieber purchased an NFT worth $1.3 million from the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) collection on the leading marketplace OpenSea in January 2022. NFT’s base price was significantly lower because it didn’t have rare features. NFT, which he bought at a high price, suffered a huge loss in the crypto winter.

The value of NFT, which pop music star Justin Bieber bought, has dropped significantly.
Justin Bieber bought this Bored Ape NFT for $1.31 million in January. Today, it’s worth $74,382. NFT was bought by the previous owner of Bieber for 0.24 ETH 9 months ago.

There were those who reacted to Bieber’s purchase of Bored Ape for $ 1.3 million. At the time of the acquisition news, Twitter users were saying that the purchased NFT did not have a rarity of $ 1.3 million.
Justin Bieber isn’t the only megastar to join the Bored Ape Yacht Club. In late December, other celebrities like rapper Eminem, Steph Curry, and Post Malone also bought BAYC NFT.
