Famous rap music artist Kanye West seems to be among the celebrities who stepped into the NFT industry.
The May 27 filings came just months after Kanye West deleted an Instagram post in which he had previously criticized NFTs.
Applications to the US Patent and Trademark Office include blockchain-based NFTs, assets, currencies and tokens.
Since the application is based on 1B, it remains unclear when it will be used. 1B applications imply that future use of trademarks is desired. Permission is obtained, but there is no need to detail the application. In 1A applications, it is essential to share detailed information about the content of the trademark and how it will be used.
