The website of Web3 platform Galxe was attacked by hackers.
The developer team made a call to users not to use the website. It is stated that the attack may be related to the Balancer attack carried out last month.
DNS records have been changed
Galxe’s website was offline for about an hour today. In their statement on X, the team stated that the site was closed and announced that there was a security breach affecting the site. It was stated that hackers exploited DNS.
In the statement made by the team, the following statements were made:
Crypto detective ZachXBT stated that the funds were stolen from Galxe and said the losses were around $160,000.
ZachXBT claimed that the attack was linked to those who carried out the Balancer attack on September 19.
Attacks on Balancer resulted in a loss of $238,000.
