In addition, if trademark applications are approved, Hermès will also offer downloadable video game software that includes, among others, virtual goods and user authentication services using e-commerce technology.
The Focus of Luxury Brands Metaverse
It is worth noting that global luxury watch and fashion brands are showing a growing interest in the world of cryptocurrencies despite the stagnant markets.
For example, Jacob & Co. will showcase the all-new Astronomia Solar Bitcoin limited edition by appointment-only at its World premiere at ‘Geneva Watch Days’, the first highly prestigious watch inspired by cryptocurrencies.
Especially luxury brands’ interest in crypto is considered significant as some of their products are seen as better investments compared to traditional assets.
