Zuckerberg Instills Confidence in Metaverse Investors
Meta’s third quarter financial reports have been released. Reality Labs, the company’s metaverse division, announced a loss of $3.7 billion.
Zuckerberg, at the conference held after the financial reports, stated that Reality Labs would do more damage. Referring to their work, Zuckerberg said;
“We just had our Connect conference and announced the Quest Pro that we just started shipping. We have a new high-end VR headset that offers high-definition mixed reality so you can blend virtual objects with the physical environment around you. You will be quite surprised when you see it. It will enable all kinds of new experiences and socialization, play, fitness and work.”
Stating that his technological studies are still at an early stage, Zuckerberg stated that no one else in the world is conducting these studies. Zuckerberg, who took an important role in the internet revolution by establishing the first social media platform Facebook, said that he would also make history on the metaverse.
In addition, the CEO stated that people are still hesitant to participate in this investment. He underlined that he would not give up his work despite such negativities. Zuckerberg wants people to look back and see what the company has accomplished. The CEO made an assertive statement during his speech. In the statement, he stated that patient investors will win.
