Cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask has added the bank transfer feature to the wallet as part of platform improvements.
MetaMask, which stands out by integrating with browsers as an add-on, is known as the largest crypto wallet interacting on the Ethereum network. The wallet, which has been providing its services since 2016, has also added the bank transfer plugin to its platform.
MetaMask to Perform Bank Transfers with Sardines
ConsenSys, one of the supporters of the popular wallet, announced the bank transfer plugin with video sharing. While ConsenSys introduced the new method, it benchmarked over the American payment method ACH. Claiming that a standard ACH order takes a long time, the organization stated that with the new add-on, orders are completed within minutes. He also underlined that this system also works on holidays.
The provider of the new add-on was the Sardine company. Sardine performs transactions in just around 10 minutes. According to ConsenSys, this is faster than a regular bank account transfer.
CEO of ConsenSys in the past months Joseph Lubin claimed to have installed DAO for MetaMask. It also confirmed that a token for the wallet will be released. However, no study has yet been initiated on these claims.
The browser wallet that allows you to connect to the Ethereum blockchain stands out as one of the oldest startups in the Ethereum space. MetaMask processes around $32 million in volume per day.
