A metaverse and artificial intelligence event was held in Göbeklitepe, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Ali Taha Koç, Head of the Presidency Digital Transformation Office, also attended the event. Koç stated that they are working to lead all sectors, especially the public sector, in digital transformation.
Koç said the following about artificial intelligence and metaverse:
“We know that artificial intelligence applications will be of great importance in the future of agriculture. Artificial intelligence will be used in many areas from irrigation to spraying, from fertilization to harvest. Metaverse hasn’t gotten as far as we’ve imagined at the moment, and it will evolve very soon.”
Artificial Intelligence Policies Association President Zafer Küçükşabanoğlu said that they are working to inform the society more about the metaverse:
“Very important point We are talking about a very important issue in Göbeklitepe. We are talking about artificial intelligence and agriculture, perception of artificial intelligence in society and businesses and the metaverse. Artificial intelligence has started to show its effect in agriculture as well as in every field. Within the scope of green growth, there is the use of pesticides to reduce the use of chemicals in agriculture and the use of artificial intelligence in the solution of plant diseases today. Artificial intelligence-assisted productivity estimation applications started to increase. The market for autonomous tractors is growing day by day. More of these developments are also happening in the metaverse. All major brands started to open stores in the metaverse.”
Within the scope of the event, expert names shared their knowledge with the panels “Artificial Intelligence and Agriculture 5.0”, “Artificial Intelligence Perception in Society and Businesses” and “Journey to the New World: Metaverse”.
