Galaxy Digital Welcomes Zac Prince as Managing Director
In a strategic move to bolster its digital asset offerings, Galaxy Digital (GLXY), led by Michael Novogratz, has announced the hiring of Zac Prince as a managing director. This decision was detailed in an internal memo shared with CoinDesk.
Prince will collaborate closely with Chris Ferraro, the President of Galaxy Digital, to drive the company’s vision forward during what they describe as a “pivotal era of transformation” for the cryptocurrency market. The firm aims to navigate the evolving landscape of digital assets and believes Prince’s expertise will be invaluable in achieving its strategic goals.
Before joining Galaxy Digital, Prince served as the CEO of RE Cost Seg, a real estate advisory firm, where he spent the last year refining his leadership skills. He is also recognized for his previous role as the co-founder and CEO of the now-bankrupt crypto lending platform BlockFi, making him a well-known figure in the cryptocurrency industry.
This latest addition comes on the heels of Galaxy Digital’s recruitment of Anthony Paquette, a former chief financial officer at Point72, who was appointed to the same role at Galaxy in December. With these strategic hires, Galaxy Digital is positioning itself to enhance its offerings in the competitive digital assets space.
