A series of screenshots posted on Twitter by a user revealed a new confusing feature that is allegedly coming to Microsoft Edge soon.

The user’s claim is that Microsoft will re-release Edge, which it took down earlier this year, as an NFT and crypto wallet.
Microsoft wants to boost its browser with another capability that will definitely grab the attention of many. The idea, according to the feature’s description, is to give Edge customers a “non-protective wallet.” Which means crypto holders don’t have to rely on third parties to store private keys and passwords.
Microsoft says the project is “an introduction to cryptocurrencies and NFTs,” and promises a more effortless and safer experience, without third-party extensions to facilitate interaction with Web3.
