The total value of this purchase was announced as approximately 1.92 billion dollars and an average per unit is 86.969 dollars. With this move, the BTC return of the company since the beginning of 2025 reached 11 %.

Last February, the company, which made a purchase of 2 billion dollars, financed this big step with a sale of $ 500 million. While a small purchase of only $ 10 million in the same month was made, this second largest purchasing in March was surprised among investors. The company’s purchase of such aggressive BTC once again revealed its impact on the market.

Risks are increasing: Microstrategy may be challenged if Bitcoin falls

The fact that Microstrategy receives such high amounts of Bitcoin is of course a positive step in terms of market confidence. However, this strategy also has a very serious risk. Bitcoin is currently the weakest performance of the last quarters. Although it has recently reached the highest level of all time, there is a loss of momentum in the short term.

This makes the company’s position fragile. Because if Microstrategy converts the Bitcoin portfolio into liquidity, there may be a serious price collapse in the market. Michael Saylor’s belief is unshakable but the market can think differently

Strategy’s Bitcoin -oriented investment plan, which has been going on for 5 years, has been greatly successful. However, this strategy is no longer a high -risk gambling supported by billions of dollars of debt, not only “faith”. Although Saylor’s leadership remains committed to Bitcoin, investors’ eyes will be in the red areas in the company’s balance sheet.
