Mothers Started To Turn To Cryptocurrency Space

As the world moves towards a digital environment, mothers also started to explore the crypto money ecosystem.

According to a report by NBC News, mothers have started to enter the cryptocurrency space to educate themselves digitally.

, announcing Facebook’s focus on the metaverse last October After changing her name to Meta, Sarah Monson began making efforts to learn about cryptocurrencies and NFTs.

Speaking at the NFT LA conference in early April, Monson told attendees that she’s trying to understand the metaverse to help her 6-year-old daughter navigate the increasingly complex digital environment. Monson said he started learning about technologies related to the metaverse, including NFTs and cryptocurrencies. Monson expressed that she wanted to educate herself on this subject.

The report revealed that an increasing number of mothers are starting to invest in crypto, a market predominantly dominated by young male investors.

Most of the maternal investors interviewed by NBC News reported that they were interested in crypto as a way to “significantly change” their family’s financial security .

Olayinka Odeniran, founder of the Black Women Blockchain Council, said:

“With more and more parents entering this space, we have a different mindset. Our approach is different from single guys or girls who are just here to invest. We’re really here because we want to leave something to our family and we want them to be able to join our space.”
