Linda Yaccarino May Become Twitter CEO
Elon Musk announced his departure as Twitter CEO on May 11, suggesting that he would be replaced by a woman in about six weeks.
Reports from major media outlets have suggested that Linda Yaccarino, NBCUniversal’s head of global advertising and partnerships, could replace Elon Musk as Twitter’s next CEO.
According to a May 12 report from Axios, Yaccarino will leave his position at NBCUniversal, where he has worked for more than 11 years. He is reportedly in talks to become the CEO of Twitter.
On May 11, Musk announced that he would step down as CEO to become Twitter’s chairman of the board and chief technology officer. He did not specifically mention the name of his replacement and gave no details except that she will be a woman and will begin in about six weeks.
