Netflix Bans Crypto Ads

According to the news of Sydney Morning, based on anonymous sources, Netflix will impose restrictions on crypto money and gambling ads, as well as on policy and drugs.

The cheap subscription tier that Netflix will bring is considered necessary for the platform to compete with Disney+.

The highly anticipated service will launch on November 1 in Australia, Canada, the US and Germany. The cheapest subscription tier will be worth just $7. However, no definite decision has been taken on the matter.

Netflix announced in July that it was partnering with Microsoft to improve its ad-supported tier. It is stated that the agreement has serious consequences for the future of the company.

In early 2021, the social media platform TikTok banned influencers from advertising cryptocurrencies.
