The New York Attorney General’s office sued KuCoin on Thursday, alleging the crypto exchange offered unregistered securities and commodities.
A press release said the suit was part of ongoing “efforts to crack down on unregistered cryptocurrency platforms.”
Among other details, the lawsuit alleged that ether, luna and terraUSD were all securities.
