President of YÖK Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar met with students at the Turkish World Science, Culture and Art Center in Eskişehir. Özvar gave the good news of new episodes here.
Touching on the importance of digitalization in his speech, Özvar stated that he has projects related to NFT and blockchain. A student asked the head of YÖK a question about whether NFT and blockchain will come to universities. Stating that departments and programs covering these areas are designed, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar said the following:
“Indeed, these areas are the most demanded in recent years and the most sought after in the world. I can clearly say that these are the departments where we need teachers the most. If there are friends among you who are interested in these fields, they should never stop and continue. We are currently designing episodes or programs that directly cover these topics and themes.”
