The world-famous sportswear brand Nike plans to launch its virtual products on its own platform.
The platform, which is still in beta, will be named “.Swoosh”.

The famous sportswear brand, together with its .Swoosh platform, will allow its fans to acquire and even create virtual items.
Community members will soon be able to wear these items in digital games, according to the company’s statement.

The company launched an experience on its gaming platform Roblox in November 2021. Later, NFT studio acquired RTFKT and has been releasing NFT collections ever since. Among these collections, the Cryptokicks collection of 20,000 virtual shoes included an NFT that sold for $134,000.
According to data from Dune Analytics, Nike has earned a total of $185 million from NFTs. Of these, $93 million came from sales, while $92 million came from royalties.
