Number of Polygon Addresses Increased 12 Percent in Q2

Despite the collapse in the cryptocurrency market, Polygon grew in the number of new addresses in the second quarter of the year. In the face of the large market sales realized in the same period, it achieved a steady increase in the number of network addresses and transaction volume.

Polygon Transaction Volume Increased to $284 Million

The transaction fee offered by Polygon, which showed growth in the first and second quarters of 2022, fell by 50 percent to $ 0.018. Polygon’s creation of a much cheaper alternative to users also contributed a lot to its growth.

Polygon’s total transaction volume increased by 4 percent compared to the first quarter of the year, reaching $284 million. The total number of unique addresses in the network increased by 12 percent compared to the first quarter to 5.34 million.

NTFs also played a role in the growth of Polygon, which came together with more than 90 thousand developers in the second quarter of the year. The total number of Polygon-based wallets in OpenSea increased by 47 percent in Q2 to reach 1.51 million.

The new collaborations of the project, especially in the last period, also contributed greatly to its development. Announcing its collaborations with names such as Kaleo, Disney, and Circle recently, the project also opened the door to important investments in this field.
