Italian luxury fashion brand Prada will launch its NFT collection on Thursday.
Some of the brand’s limited edition specials launched in 2019 will be released on the first Thursday of each month.
Prada’s Ethereum-based NFTs designed in capsule form will be available for sale on the brand’s website. There will be 100 shirts and NFTs in total.
Black or white button-down unisex shirts were designed by artist Cassius Hirst, son of NFT artist Damien Hirst.
Information on NFTs, which will offer various privileges to their holders, will be announced on Prada Crypted, Prada’s Discord server, which will launch on Thursday.
The Aura Blockchain Consortium, founded by Prad, LVMH, and Cartier, will be the organization supporting the collection. Aura uses Quorum, an Ethereum-based enterprise blockchain service.
This is not Prada’s first NFT move. The brand partnered with Adidas to launch an NFT earlier this year.
