The CEO of San Francisco-based blockchain firm Ripple met with the Prime Minister of Georgia to discuss blockchain adoption.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse to discuss blockchain technology at the 2022 World Economic Forum event.
Irakli Garibashvili used the following statements about the meeting on Twitter:
“We had a great conversation with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse. We shared our vision for Georgia’s blockchain and its future.
We aim to develop as a technology and innovation center with a business-centered environment and an innovative approach”

According to the Georgian media, the Prime Minister made an offer to Ripple CEO.
“The Prime Minister offered Ripple CEO to open a corporate service in Georgia and noted that Georgia has a favorable investment climate and the country has a stable position”
