He said critical talks on the possibility of Rlusd’s implementation. Following the talks with Ripple managers, the process could reach a more concrete point in March. On the other hand, Hoskinson also touched upon the recent fluctuations in the crypto market, stressed that Cardano has performed better than some large crypto currencies despite the depreciation.
Cardano inventor mentioned Ripple’s stablecoin
Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano (Ada), shared new details about the possibility of Rlusd’s implementation and his interviews with important names in the crypto world. Hoskinson said that negotiations are still in progress and that the process could make progress in March after the completion of the New York Financial Services Department (NYDFS) project.
“We met with David Schwartz and Brad Garlinghouse. We’re likely to get an agreement on Rlusd. Ripple told us to wait until March because they have just completed the NYDFS process. We will see if there is a road map and how to implement it ”.
Market status and island performance was also on Hoskinson’s agenda
Hoskinson also touched upon the current market decline and announced that Cardano depreciated 19 %in the last 24 hours and 23 %in the last week. Nevertheless, he stressed that the island performs better than some large crypto currencies such as Dogecoin, Solana and BNB. Stating that recent fluctuations in the market are linked to extreme optimistic expectations due to the possibility of re -election of Donald Trump, Hoskinson said that the expectation of a rapid increase in Bitcoin’s value caused the market to make more purchase. However, he stressed that the crypto market will remain strong in the long run.
Hoskinson also drew attention to the increasing interest of the US government in Blockchain technology. In the next five years, Blockchain integration will play a major role in voting systems, public purchases and identity management. In addition, Hoskinson, who also mentioned the possibility of the US government to create a Bitcoin reserve, said Cardano could play a critical role in this process with its decentralized finance solutions.
