Roche Freedman Removed From Tether Case

Law firm Roche Freedman has been removed from its representation in a class action lawsuit against Bitfinex and Tether.

Tether said last month that Kyle Roche, a co-founder of Roche Freedman, should be removed from the lawsuit after allegations that he used investor lawsuits to help his client. After a long time, the decision came by the US judge.

Roche Freedman Won’t Be A Representative in Tether Litigation

According to a report by Bloomberg, law firm Roche Freedman has been excluded from representing plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit against crypto exchange Bitfinex and stablecoin issuer Tether.

Roche Freedman co-founder Kyle Roche was withdrawn from all crypto class action lawsuits, including accusing Tether of cheating on crypto markets, after his video was posted by Crypto Leaks.

Tether, previously reported that Roche Freedman co-founder Kyle Roche should be removed from the lawsuit following allegations that he used investor lawsuits to help his client.

U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York Katherine Polk Failla stated in a hearing he held that the firm’s continued litigation could derail the case. He said he would change his first chief counsel appointment to remove the firm from the lawsuit.
